The output capacitor selection depends on the output voltage, output current, and ripple requirements. Richtek recommends using a low-ESR capacitor with a minimum capacitance of 10uF and a voltage rating of at least 1.5 times the output voltage. The RT9728ALGE has a built-in overcurrent protection feature that can be enabled by connecting a resistor between the OCP pin and the GND pin.
