TLE7250GVIOXUMA2 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Infineon recommends a 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a thermal via array under the device to improve heat dissipation. A minimum of 5 thermal vias with a diameter of 0.3 mm is recommended.

  • To ensure EMC, Infineon recommends using a common-mode choke, a ferrite bead, and a decoupling capacitor (e.g., 100 nF) between the device and the power supply. Additionally, a shielded cable and a connector with a good shielding effectiveness should be used.

  • The maximum allowed voltage on the input pins is 40 V, but it's recommended to keep it below 35 V to ensure reliable operation.

  • Infineon recommends using a soldering iron with a temperature of 350°C maximum and a soldering time of 3 seconds maximum. For rework, a hot air soldering station with a temperature of 250°C maximum and an air flow of 1.5 bar maximum is recommended.

  • The device should be stored in a dry, cool place with a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and a relative humidity of 60% maximum.
