L-com US The NBS141206-1H0 is designed to provide protection, indoors and outdoors, against dust, dirt, oil, ... and water for items such as pneumatic or hydraulic instruments, transformers, and junction wiring. These enclosures are for use in areas such as shop floors, process controls, agriculture operations, food and beverage operations where they are subject to frequent high-pressure hosing, dirt, grime and generally wet conditions. The NBS141206-1H0 enclosure is made from 14ga. hot rolled steel. All seams are continuously welded and each enclosure comes with four 10-32 weld nuts. Grounding studs are provided on the inside of the box and door, and wall mounting back brackets are welded on the top and bottom outside. The enclosure door is sealed with a one piece neoprene gasket and is secured to the enclosure with a continuous stainless steel piano hinge on one side and stainless steel door clamping hardware on three sides. All enclosures are phosphatized and finished inside and out with ANSI/ASA 61 grey polyester powder coating. Included with the enclosure is a 1/2" cable conduit connector and grounding lug. The aluminum mounting plate has provisions to mount various equipment types such as WLAN devices. With the optional HGX-AMOUNT02 bracket a wide array of L-com PoE products and power supplies can be mounted as well. Two of these brackets can be mounted side by side. Also available is the HGX-NMOUNT03 Universal Mounting Shelf that can be attached to the mounting plate and can accommodate additional equipment to be placed in the enclosure. The plate features four standard surge protected 120 VAC outlets and a terminal strip to supply power to internal equipment. To help ensure trouble-free operation of electronic equipment, proper operating temperatures inside the enclosure need to be maintained. With the built-in heating system, internal temperatures can be better maintained. Ideal for cold environments, the NBS141206-1H0 includes a thermostat controlled 200W heating system. The heater turns on when the internal temperature drops to 40°F (4°C) ±7° and turns off at 60°F (15°C) ±5°. The heater does not require the use of any of the AC outlets, leaving them available for your equipment. No extra room for the heater is required since it is mounting underneath the plate. The NBS141206-100 is built to the requirements of NEMA/EEMAC type 12 specifications for use with industrial control equipment in ordinary locations, type 13 for an oil and dust tight enclosure, and type 4,4X as a water tight corrosion resistant enclosure. The NBS141206 is available with CSA and UL 508 certifications as an option.
