  • The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the VIN pin is 18V, but it's recommended to keep it below 15V for optimal performance and reliability.

  • The RUN pin is an active-high enable input that allows the user to turn the converter on and off. To use it, simply tie the RUN pin to VIN or a logic-level signal to enable the converter, or tie it to GND to disable it.

  • To configure the feedback network, use the following formula: RFBT = (VOUT / 0.8V) * RFB, where RFBT is the top feedback resistor, VOUT is the desired output voltage, and RFB is the bottom feedback resistor. Choose RFB to be in the range of 1kΩ to 10kΩ.

  • The maximum output current that the LTC3129 can deliver is 2A, but it's recommended to derate the output current based on the input voltage, output voltage, and ambient temperature to ensure reliable operation.
