Isolated Current Shunt and Voltage Measurement Reference Design for Motor Drives
This evaluation kit and reference design implements the AMC130x reinforced isolated delta-sigma modulators along with integrated Sinc filters in the C2000™ TMS320F28377D Delfino™ microcontroller. The design provides an ability to evaluate the performance of these measurements: three motor currents: three inverter voltages and the DC Link voltage. Provided in the kit is firmware to configure the Sinc filters: set the PLL frequency and receive data from Sinc filters. A versatile run-time GUI is also provided to help the user validate the AMC130x performance and supports configuration changes to Sinc filter parameters in the Delfino controller.

Low Power RF PLL-Synthesizer Operating From a Single Cell Battery Reference Design
The TIDA-00886 consists of the LMX2571: high-performance: wideband PLLatinum™ low-power RF synthesizer: powered by a single cell battery using TPS63050 a DC-DC buck-boost converter. The TIDA-00886 shows that the DC-DC buck-boost converter has a small to negligible effect on the phase noise performance of the LMX2571. The LMX2571 is very popular in 2-way radio applications as well as handheld test and measurement equipment. Although this is a low current consumption device: 39-mA in Synthesizer mode (Internal VCO) and 9mA in PLL mode (External VCO): efficiency is critical for battery operated applications.

Isolated delta-sigma modulator based AC/DC voltage and current measurement module reference design
This isolated shunt based current measurement unit enables high accuracy current measurement without the use of Current Transformers (CT). The isolation is achieved through the use of AMC1304 that incorporates both high voltage isolation as well as the Delta-Sigma Modulator. This solution eliminates the need for the CT which customers value due to the decrease in board size: reduced product weight: mitigation of cross talk and EMI in the system: and potentially increases product life through lower mechanical issues by replacing the CT with a shunt.
