The maximum power supply voltage is ±18V, but it's recommended to operate within ±15V for optimal performance and reliability.
To ensure stability, add a 10-22pF capacitor between the output and the inverting input, and a 1kΩ-2kΩ resistor in series with the feedback path.
Keep the input and output traces short and away from each other, use a ground plane, and avoid routing signals near the op-amp's inputs. Also, decouple the power supply with a 10uF capacitor and a 100nF capacitor in parallel.
While the LMC6462BIM/NOPB can be used as a comparator, it's not recommended due to its relatively slow slew rate and limited output current. A dedicated comparator IC would be a better choice.
Use ESD protection devices, such as TVS diodes or ESD arrays, on the input and output pins. Also, follow proper handling and storage procedures to prevent ESD damage.
