30A SIMPLE SWITCHER® Power Module with 3 to 14.5V Reference Design with PMBus
The reference design PMP9464 utilizes the LMZ31530: a 30A SIMPLE SWITCHER® Power Module. The LMZ31530 SIMPLE SWITCHER® power module is an easy-to-use integrated power solution that combines a 30-A DC/DC converter with power MOSFETs: a shielded inductor: and passives into a low profile: QFN package.This design has a LM25056 on the front end. The LM25056 combines high performance analog and digital technology with a PMBus compliant SMBus/I2C interface to accurately measure the operating conditions of electrical systems including computing and storage blades connected to a backplane power bus. This allows the user to monitor the real time values of Vin: Iin: Pin and Pout; as well as temperature and peak power. These values are reported via PMBus™/SMBus™/I2C.PMP9464 also enables the user to margin the output voltage setting: by slewing it up or down. This is done with the LM10011 VID programmable current DAC. The LP2951 supplies a 3.3V rail for the LM3881 power sequencer. The LM3881 sequencer can be used for sequencing other off board power supplies.

NAMUR PLC Digital input with fault protection and diagnostics reference design
The NAMUR proximity sensor is widely used in industrial control when a special requirement on maximum energy is to be fulfilled by the sensor. This in turn dictates special requirements on the PLC digital input designed to interface with such sensor with regard to accuracy: and reliability. This reference design is a full front-end of a digital input compatible with NAMUR sensors. The design demonstrates achieving reliability through redundancy: fault protection: and extensive diagnostic features in a compact footprint.

Based on the Wide VIN COT Sync Buck regulator LM5017: this FlyBuck circuit provides excellent regulation for two isolated outputs and one non-isolated output. Compared with a conventional Flyback circuit: this design features a smaller board size and minimized BOM without the need for an optocoupler. 6V-42V Input 12V/5A SEPIC for Automotive Applications
PMP7797 is a wide-input SEPIC converter designed for automotive applications. This design uses the LM25037Q push-pull controller as an interleaved boost: which incorporates two gate drivers for controlling two sets of MOSFET switches. The input is 12V nominal with a working range of 6V at cold crank to 42V at load dump. An auxiliary soft-start circuit is incorporated into the design: as well as input and output LC filters. At higher input voltage this SEPIC is capable of higher output current as shown by the typical efficiency plot.
