Tip: Data for a part may vary between manufacturers. You can filter for manufacturers on the top of the page next to the part image and part number.
LFCN-2500D+ by Mini-Circuits is a Ceramic Filter.
Ceramic Filters are under the broader part category of Filters.
A filter is an electronic circuit that selectively allows certain frequencies to pass while attenuating others. They are used to extract desired signals and remove noise. Read more about Filters on our Filters part category page.

Mini-Circuits recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and a low-inductance path to the ground pin. A good layout practice is to keep the signal path short and away from noise sources, and to use a common ground point for the device and the surrounding components.
To achieve the best possible noise figure, ensure that the input is properly matched to the device, and that the input signal is strong enough to overcome the internal noise floor. Additionally, use a high-quality, low-noise power supply, and keep the device away from noise sources such as digital circuits and switching power supplies.
The maximum input power that the LFCN-2500D+ can handle is +10 dBm. Exceeding this limit may cause damage to the device or affect its performance.
While the LFCN-2500D+ is designed for 50 ohm systems, it can be used in non-50 ohm systems with some performance degradation. However, the device's performance may be affected, and additional impedance matching may be required to achieve optimal results.
The operating temperature range of the LFCN-2500D+ is -40°C to +85°C. However, the device's performance may be affected at extreme temperatures, and it is recommended to operate it within a temperature range of 0°C to +70°C for optimal results.
