A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. The device should be placed near the edge of the board to minimize signal reflections.
The device requires a single +5V power supply. Ensure the power supply is well-regulated and decoupled with 0.1uF and 10uF capacitors. A 1kΩ resistor in series with the bias pin is recommended to prevent oscillation.
The maximum input power is +10dBm. Exceeding this may cause compression or damage to the device.
The device has a 50Ω input and output impedance. Use a π-network or a T-network to match the impedance to your system's requirements.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. However, optimal performance is achieved between 0°C and 50°C.
