  • A 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias under the IC is recommended. This helps to dissipate heat efficiently and reduce thermal resistance.

  • Ensure that the input voltage rises and falls monotonically, and that the enable pin (EN) is properly driven to avoid unwanted start-ups or shutdowns. A soft-start circuit can also be used to reduce inrush currents.
