The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the L272D is 35V, but it's recommended to keep it below 30V for reliable operation.
To ensure stability, use a minimum output capacitance of 10uF with an ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) of less than 1 ohm, and a minimum input capacitance of 1uF with an ESR of less than 5 ohms.
