A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the input and output traces short and away from each other to minimize coupling. Use a common-mode choke or a ferrite bead to filter the power supply.
The ADL5565ACPZ-R7 requires a single 5V power supply. Ensure the power supply is well-regulated and decoupled with 0.1uF and 10uF capacitors. The input common-mode voltage should be set to 2.5V using a voltage divider or a voltage reference.
The maximum input signal amplitude is 2.5Vpp differential. Exceeding this limit may cause distortion and affect the amplifier's linearity.
Use a shielded enclosure, keep the input and output cables short and away from each other, and use twisted-pair cables to minimize radiation. Also, ensure the PCB is properly grounded and use EMI filters or ferrite beads on the power supply lines.
The thermal derating of the ADL5565ACPZ-R7 is 2.5mW/°C above 25°C. Ensure proper heat sinking and airflow to maintain a safe operating temperature.
