The recommended power-up sequence is to apply VDD before applying the analog signal. This ensures that the internal circuitry is properly biased before the analog signal is applied.
The ADG408BRUZ requires a 50Ω termination resistor to VDD or VSS on each switch terminal to ensure proper operation. This helps to reduce signal reflections and improve signal integrity.
The maximum voltage that can be applied to the analog signal pins is VDD + 0.3V or VSS - 0.3V, whichever is less. Exceeding this voltage can cause damage to the device.
To minimize power consumption when the device is not in use, set the EN pin low to disable the device. This reduces the quiescent current to less than 1μA.
The recommended PCB layout involves keeping the analog signal traces as short as possible, using a solid ground plane, and minimizing the distance between the device and the termination resistors.
