A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and separate analog and digital power planes is recommended. Keep the analog and digital circuits separate, and use a star-grounding scheme to minimize noise.
Calibration involves adjusting the gain and offset of the ADC channels. Use the on-chip calibration registers to adjust the gain and offset, and perform a self-calibration sequence to optimize performance.
The recommended clock frequency is between 2.5 MHz and 10 MHz. A higher clock frequency can improve measurement accuracy, but may also increase noise and power consumption.
Use external overcurrent protection devices, such as fuses or current-limiting resistors, to prevent damage to the device. Implement overvoltage protection using voltage regulators or TVS diodes to prevent damage from voltage surges.
Power up the device in the following sequence: VDD, AVDD, and then CLKIN. Ensure that the power supplies are stable and within the recommended voltage range before applying the clock signal.
