The 24C02C/P has a minimum of 1 million write cycles, but the actual number of write cycles can vary depending on the application and usage.
The 24C02C/P uses a page write mode for writing data to the device. The device is organized into 16-byte pages, and writes can be performed in increments of 1 byte to 16 bytes. For block writes, the device can be written in blocks of 16 bytes or more.
The WP (Write Protect) pin is used to prevent writes to the entire device or to specific blocks of the device. When the WP pin is tied low, the entire device is write-protected. When the WP pin is tied high, the device can be written to normally.
A retry mechanism can be implemented by checking the ACK (Acknowledge) bit in the status register after a write operation. If the ACK bit is not set, the write operation can be retried until the ACK bit is set.
The recommended clock frequency for the 24C02C/P is 100 kHz to 400 kHz. However, the device can operate at clock frequencies up to 1 MHz.
